<a href='http://ubuntu-linux.org/'>Ubuntu Linux</a> gets the coveted <a href='/'>Pablotron</a> gold star for the week.  It's <a href='http://debian.org/'>Debian</a>-based, really easy to install, and includes the latest and greatest <a href='http://gnome.org/'>GNOME</a>.
<a href='http://ubuntu-linux.org/'>Ubuntu</a> also has <a href='http://ubuntuguide.org/'><em>fantastic</em> documentation</a>, and it detected most of the hardware on my new laptop correctly (<a href='http://knoppix.net/'>Knoppix</a> didn't).

If <a href='http://gentoo.org/'>Gentoo</a> and <a href='http://ubuntu-linux.org/'>Ubuntu</a> are the future of <a href='http://linux.org/'>Linux</a>, then I'd say we're in pretty good hands...
