new headphones to replace plantronics voyager from 2017.
first week has been good.
app install sucks; they want you to sign up for a bunch of garbage (sony
account) that is unnecessary, but you can skip all that
once the app is installed you can reconfigure the touch controls. i use
the button the left headset for volume control, so the only thing i'm
really missing from the plantronics voyager is the ability to mute from
the headset, which already didn't work in the voyager in work meetings.
battery life appears to be pretty good (with AAC they should last >7
hours). haven't tested that yet, but i they have handled a couple
multi-hour work meetings just fine.
usb-c is great
even more portable than the old plantronics voyager, and they do music
as well as voice calls
